We need to get the final numbers to our caterer by the end of July, so please RSVP by July 31.
Please check your invitation and reach out to us.
YES! We want kids to come and have a good time. We have arranged for some additional kid-approved food and will set up a play/rest area at the venue. If there are any additional accommodations that would make our wedding an easy and fun experience for parents and/or children, please let us know!
You can arrive at Dank Haus as early as 4pm, we expect the ceremony to start around 4:30pm. We have the venue until 10 pm and may go somewhere after if folks (and the bride and groom) are up for it.
We recommend an Uber/Lyft. Dank Haus is great, but not super accessible by public transit. The closest ‘L’ station is Western on the Brown line.
If Parking: You can park on the side streets or on Western Avenue. There is very little street parking, especially on a Saturday night – the best bet is the parking lot of 5/3 Bank on Western and Gunnison – but not overnight (according to Dank Haus).
If taking CTA: Take the Brown Line towards Kimball and get off at Western. Dank Haus is a two-minute walk away!
For the wedding ceremony and reception, we want folks to wear whatever makes you feel beautiful and keeps you comfortable! If that’s a boho-chic dress, great! If that’s dress pants and suspenders, great! If kids want to dress up in tutus, spiderman costumes, or even as a hot dog, amazing! The ceremony and reception will be indoors with climate control (A/C). The Friday hangout is pretty informal, so wear an outfit that’s comfortable and great for lots of selfies.
For the beach hang on Friday, wear whatever beach wear will be comfortable and allow for a lot of movement. The lake is a great place to wade, swim, read, play, etc.
You can call Vaibhav (585-754-7133) or Sarah (512-423-3695) with any and all questions that you have!
